About the Photographer
Whether it be on stage, studio, barn, or show arena, I love what I do and feel honored to spend time with people and their passion. I held my first professional camera in 2013 starting out in landscape photography. With the help of my amazing tech guru husband and lots of practice I found love and freedom in creating beautiful images for myself and others. If you think about it, a photo truly is a gateway to our most precious memories.
Horses
Horses have been in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had a beautiful black American Saddlebred named Darlin. I was absolutely in love with her and the day we had to say goodbye is still burned into my memory. I was very young and only have one picture to remember her which is where my passion for equine portraits began. I love to capture that special relationship between horse and human.
Ballet
Ballet is what kept me sane in my childhood/teenage years... or maybe it made me crazy, I don't know! I've never been good with words, but always good with movement. I had a very short professional career due to injuries, but photography has given me the chance to stay in the dance world. Ballet is art and strength combined and I see people's hearts when they dance. I feel you can truly speak from the soul while dancing whether you are performing in front of thousands of people or just playing around in the studio.
